Hello Everyone,

I would like to take this opportunity to tell you about a remarkable family.
There was a young man in Paris, IL, Brant Hutchens, who owned two retired
racing greyhounds, and was very outspoken about greyhound rescue. He loved
his dogs and felt very deeply about saving as many as we could.

Mr. Hutchens passed away tragically in an accident recently. His family
knowing of his love for the greyhounds requested that memorial donation’s be
made to GPA Indy. I can’t express to you how awestruck I was. I am
passing along to you the names of Brant’s parent’s in case any of you would
also like to send them notes. I think we sometimes forget that our GPA
family extends beyond those that we know. It was a selfless act of
generosity and kindness of their part, and in the midst of their darkest
hour. Let’s get some notes in the mail to these folks and let them know we
will be forever grateful for their kindness, and they will be kept in our
thoughts, prayers and hearts forever.

Please send notes to

Mr. & Mrs. Douglas T. (Mary Sue) Hutchens
719 Hunt Street
Paris, IL 61944

Thanks Everyone,

Michelle
