Many, Many thanks to everyone who helped in any way at our 3rd annual 4-day Martinsville Fall Foliage Festival greyhound booth.  In spite of cold (32 degrees), wind (30-35 mph - which turned our tent over once) and poor attendance because of these factors, we still had a very successful 4-day meet and greet.   Many promising contacts were made and both sales of GPA merchandise and donations far exceeded last year.  Special thanks to three families, Joe, Jim & Diana Moran, Karen & Mark Gough, and Paul and Louray Cain who not only worked more than one shift, but also helped with set-up and  tear-down, and general encouragement for me.  Without them this event would not have been possible.  Also, special thanks to Lucy Rike, who loaned us space for our merchandise at night and restroom facilities at her place of business on the square, Party Time Connections.  Greyt people can do great things.
