Hi everyone, as much as I hate to do this, it's time to beg and plead: We
desperately need some volunteers for the Quaker Day Fest meet and greet
booth for this weekend. As it stands, we do not have enough volunteers to
staff the booth. If anyone is available, PLEASE contact me ASAP!
We have a new event on our website for September 30th. University of
Indianapolis has once again invited us as guests to their homecoming for a
meet and greet. The university always takes good care of us, even offers
volunteers a complimentary buffet. Bev Creamer has agreed to head this up,
(Thank You Bev!) please contact her to volunteer and please do so fairly
soon so I can provide a head count to the alumni director for the number of
buffet tickets to be set aside for our volunteers.
Look for more information coming soon on the website for a new event,
Petfest 2006, at the Eagle Creek Bark Park on October 7th. Dave and Lynda
Lilly (again, a Thank You is in order!) will be hosting the event, and if
you are interested in volunteering, please contact them to do so.
And I just got word that our contract has been accepted for everyone's
favorite meet and greet, the Christmas Gift and Hobby show, which runs
November 8 through 12, so look for that event to be posted soon on the
website as well. We will need lots of volunteers to staff this always
popular event.
Thanks to all who volunteer! Sharon
