GPA Indy Message 2006 Annual Picnic - Location Change

All,

 

Due to this crazy Indiana weather GPA Indy's annual picnic has been
relocated to the Boone County Fairgrounds in the Commercial Building.
Several inches of rain this week made it impossible to have the picnic at
the Greyhound Resort.  Bruce and Katie of the Greyhound Resort and the
Picnic Committee have found an alternate location with a large enclosed
building and paved parking to hold the picnic at the Boone County
Fairgrounds.  Please see the attached map to the Fairgrounds for directions.

 

The time remains the same (11:00 AM to 4:00 PM) this Sunday September 24th
and the location is just five miles due west of the original location.
Please bring your hounds and join us at the Fairgrounds for a day of
celebrating the adoption of hundreds of hounds through rescue groups in the
central Indiana area.  

 

Chairs and tables will be provided by the Fairgrounds so we ask that you
bring your covered dish and plenty of cash or checks (we do not have the
ability to take credit cards) so you can bid high and often on the fabulous
items in the silent auction and can shop from the vendors on site for hound
related gifts.  Please review the attached silent auction preview for a
sample of the items that will be available for bidding on Sunday!  A map
showing the general layout of the picnic is also attached.

this page of the website for additional information.
