I learned three crucial lessond yesterday when D
Sosa got loose.

First, an open gate, even for a few seconds, does more than ask for trouble.  It 
pretty much guarantees it.

Second, a few days, much less a couple of months is far too long to have a tag 
made with the dog's name and phone number.  Thank heaven for that GPA tag!

And finally, I pray it never happens again, but if it should, it's extremely 
comforting to know that there is such an incredible support network of people 
who will go to any lenths to help a greyhound in need/crisis.  A special hug of 
thanks to Mona, Trae and everyone else who came to the rescue.

Sosa is home now with her extremely grateful family.
