GPA Indy Message May Hound Haul

Hello All,

Hopefully this message finds you and your hounds in
good health.  Twenty (20) new hounds from Daytona will
be arriving in Indianapolis Saturday, May 19th!  We
currently have three (3) foster homes confirmed which
leaves us seventeen (17) foster homes short.  We
realize some of you will be taking vacations over the
next couple of months but please don’t let this stop
you from fostering.  We can always provide care for
your foster hound in your absence or use you as a
short term foster home.  I understand some volunteers
believe that this disrupts the foster hound, however,
we will have been able to save another four-legged
furry friend, which is better than the alternative! 
We currently have two or three available hounds up for
adoption with over 24 applications in various stages
of processing.   Twelve of the twenty hounds making
the journey will have been already spayed or neutered
in Florida, which should assist us in adopting them
more quickly.  Please help us out by providing a warm
bed and a loving home for a short time.    

If you know an adopter who has not become involved in
the group or someone in the group that you think might
be a good foster home but has never fostered before,
please mention fostering to them and suggest that they
complete an online foster application. 

If you have a GPA Indianapolis crate but cannot foster
at this time please contact Marjorie Dunbar about
making arrangements to get the crate back to GPA
Indianapolis.
