Hello all,
   Just a short note to thank all of you who have called, prayed, e-mailed, and offered help since my accident 3 weeks ago.   The surgeons repaired my broken 1st and  misaligned second vertebra with pins and screws, and I am healing well.  I am feeling very blessed and thanking God that I have NO paralysis at all.  Even the surgeon said it was truly a miracle, especially since I got up and walked into the house and called 911 myself.   It will be a while before I have enough  range of motion in my neck to drive very far, but I am     getting around the house well without help.  I just want to say that greyhound people are wonderful, caring people.  We are like family - when one of us needs help or encouragement, others rush in to show they care.  Thank you so much for all you do, both for the hounds and each other  See all of you at the picnic - I hope.
