GPA Indy Message Pat Lineback needs your prayers

All, I received this message from Pat and would like to pass it on.  
   
   
   
   
   
  GPA family,
   
  We learned tonight that our grand old 14 yr old DJ has osteosarcoma.  Life is so unfair sometimes.  One would think that he should have earned the right to go in his sleep, but I case that is not the case.
   
  I have the greatest regard for Dr. David Lee at Broad Ripple Vet Clinic and his caring concern for the elderly guys and the fine care he has given DJ.    We made the decision, with Dr. Lee's advice, to bring DJ home for two weeks so we could come to terms with this and say our goodbyes.  The next two weeks are going to be extremely rough for our family, but the important thing is that we do right by DJ and not succomb to our own wants and needs.
   
  I am asking for your best wishes and prayers for DJ.  I am hoping that we can find the strength to know when the time is right.
   
  Hug your hounds tonight and tell them how much you love them.
