All,

It is with great sadness to tell   you  Snapper has crossed the Rainbow Bridge
to run free. Mike and I had noticed about 3 weeks ago she was showing
signs of getting much worse. While her sweet personality never changed,
her nosebleeds became more frequent and her breathing was extremely
labored to just go outside to potty. Snapper was a part of our family
for almost (December 15th) 8 years. She was on the  first truck that
was officially GPA Indy. Look how far we have come and the
acomplishments we have made! We have lots to be proud of. The decision
was difficult, probably one of the hardest we have ever had to make, we
knew we did not want her to suffer. She was too good of dog/pet/friend
to let that happen. We are missing her tonight as are her greyhound
brother and sister, Blu and Visor, along with her Lab companions,
Callie and Lucy. We are so thankful for the kindness and understanding
shown us by Dr. Kapke and his staff at Greenwood Animal Clinic. They
are a wonderful group of people. Snapper celebrated her 12th birthday
on October the 20th.  I'm sure Lyle and Cash were waiting for her and
they are now running
together. Please keep Melody & Mike Gayle in your prayers and hug your hands.
