All,

We currently still have three puppies available.  The puppies are approaching 9 weeks old very quickly and are ready for their new homes!!  We have two males and one female available.
Sammie, Sydney and Sheba, are all doing very well in their crates sleeping well through the night.  They are playful and active and healthy.  All puppies are red fawn.  They are quickly developing their own personalities, and each one is unique.
It is critical that these boys and girl find their permanent homes very soon.  Critical bonding age for puppies is between 9-12 weeks of age.  They are all getting very attached to their foster homes,  and their foster homes are getting attached as well!!  I have got nothing but great reviews from the foster homes regarding these pups, all are doing well in the potty training and house rules departments, and they are adjusting well to everyone’s schedules.    All in all it’s a great bunch of puppies!
If adopting one of these bundles of joy interests you, please fill out the online adoption application on our website at www.gpaindy.org .  ********IMPORTANT**********  Please make a note in one of the sections on the application that you are applying for a puppy!!   Even if you have already applied to adopt a greyhound you must fill out an application for a puppy!  If you have questions about whether a puppy is right for you please contact me directly at avongreyhounds at yahoo.com .
The adoption  requirements are listed below.
1.)     Must currently own a greyhound
2.)    Fill out online adoption application for puppy
3.)    Must have a home visit, even if you are a current active member, as puppies are very different than retired racing greyhounds.
4.)    $300.00 Adoption fee, with $50.00 returned after proof puppy is spayed or neutered by March 1, 2009.
5.)    Assume immediate financial responsibility for all remaining first year vaccinations, and spay/neuter, as well as any other health issues that arise.
6.)    Have a firm understanding that a puppy is far from a retired racer, and understand that a considerable amount of time and patience will be needed to train a puppy.
If you have room in your hearts, your homes and your schedules, and would like to adopt one of these little pups,  please let me know!  They are ready to find their new homes, will it be with you?  I look forward  to hearing from you soon!
On behalf of the Board,
Michelle Carter
