GPA Indy Message Passing of Smarty

It is with saddened heart that I have to say that Smarty has passed on. He came in for his breakfast and in his zest for his meals he slipped on the hardwood floor and fell. I knew it was bad when he wouldn't stand. I rushed him to the vet where it was determined that he had fractured his femur. Being 12+ they said he wouldn't survive the surgery. They also suspected cancer and upon a chest scan they found an abnormality. That made the decision to put him down easier. The doctor commented that she suspected that based on the nature of the break. He will be deeply missed by myself, all that met him and received his licks and mostly by his girlfriend Brit who will be 13 on Friday.
