GPA Indy Message DOG FOUND!!!

All,
 
Elliott has been caught and is on his way home, to a warm bed and blanket.  We would like to thank volunteers from both Greyt Rescues, and All Star Greyhounds for assisting in our search, the Lafayette Police Department, and Lafayette Animal Control.  All of which were eager to help!  Elliot was found very close to home, where he approached a woman outside.  She took him in, and starting calling numbers on his tags.  
 
Please take this opportunity to check your gates, and fences for any possible escape routes, or maintenance issues.  Also, when out walking your dogs on leashes, please don't ever let your guard down.  Even if your dog has never offered to bolt, that doesn't mean he never will.  Greyhound Grip!!  Better safe  than sorry.  We all know this could have ended much worse than it did.  Let it serve as a reminder the extra attention needed regarding security and caution the ownership of these special creatures brings.  Love your hounds, hug them tight, and be thankful they are safe.  Let's all take a moment to reflect on what we can do to keep that way!
