It is a very sad day for us.  We had to have our 12 year old, Nicki, put to sleep instead of celebrating at the picnic.  She has suffered with back pain far too long now, and with heavy hearts we decided to let her go.  We are heartsick about this, but we knew it was time since there was nothing else that could be done for her.  Silver misses her already and will be lost without his "little sister".  We will meet her at the Rainbow Bridge someday and we'll all be together again.
